"Perfect pint for best hotel"
Top marks for the real ale from Cask Marque – article from the Bury Free Press
The Bull at Barton Mills has been awarded top marks for all three of its cask ales in a recent visit from Cask Marque. Cask Marque is an independent body who assesses and monitors pubs across the country for the quality and very importantly the consistency of their real ales.
The unannounced visit by the representative assesses the following qualities temperature, aroma, appearance and of course the all-important taste of the pint. The ales that the inspector sampled were Green King IPA Gold, Adnams Broadside and Old Rodney from Brandon Brewery each scoring an impressive 20 out of 20.
