Come and join the fun in Barton Mills for the 7th great Scarecrow Festival!

“The Wild Ones” at The Olde Bull Inn
To round off the famous Barton Mills scarecrow festival everyone is invited to join us in the courtyard for live music from “The Wild Ones” from 6pm on the Sunday evening. “The Wild Ones” have recognition both in the UK and Europe as one of the liveliest and entertaining sixties bands performing today. The band recreates the sound and look of the sixties from their authentic instruments to their smart cut suits, performing songs from 1958 to 1968 including Cliff & The Shadows, Johnny Kidd, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and The Kinks.

There will be scarecrows, made from recycled materials all around the village, for you to see. Other features will include, open gardens, charity stalls and a marquee on the village playing field for music, drama, displays, entertainment, arena for dog show, children’s activities, refreshments with barbeque and cream teas, recycled flower show in the church.

All this will make for a great fun weekend, and proceeds will benefit many local good causes and other charities, including St Mary’s (Barton Mills) Preservation Trust.
